Avianda

Avianda has been innovating “green housing” systems and construction in Mexico since 1999. This activity includes energy efficient building design featuring a panelized construction system and the design of subdivision infrastructure, including multi-unit gray water reclamation and solar thermal systems.

Avianda manufactures structural panels (complete wall units), thermally and acoustically efficient doors and windows, and solar hot water system. The company develops project sites, and constructs homes and multi-story residential structures. All activity meets ISO certification standards.

The basic strategy and key to Avianda’s success has been to focus on sustainability-oriented products and practices that can be adopted as a “standard” to allow for a broad market reach. Avianda is planning expansion of its proprietary housing construction system and products to other emerging economies with rapidly expanding middle-income populations.
